Policies
* all current competition, elite, and premier dancers agreed to these policies when registering for team tryouts in June.
Our competition teams require attendance to be successful. Competition team members will only be allowed up to 4 absences a semester (September through December and January through May).
Our competition team is a commitment from summer technique classes through the Spring Show. Premier dancers are required to attend a national competition every other year, the next being in July 2026. If dancers fail to commit to the entire season, parents will be charged a respacing fee.
All costume, recital, competition, convention, and workshop fees are non-refundable once the due date has passed.
All competition team dancers must sign up for at least 2 summer classes (Ballet Technique, Turns and Leaps, Flexibility and Conditioning, combo classes, etc.) than run for 4 weeks in June. Dancers who are not able to attend all 4 classes can pick any other class to attend as a makeup class.
All competition team dancers must sign up for at least 1 dance intensive in July (technique or ballet) and attend Team Camp in August. All dates will be listed on the summer schedule page.
Summer Commitments-
“The More you Train in the Summer the More prepared you are in the Fall”
June- All our Competition & Premier Students need to attend at least 1 technique class in our June 4 week session. (ex. Ballet, Turns & Leaps). If you are currently on a Premier Team (preparing for Nationals) National practices count for this. We of course encourage doing more then one class. We offer many combo classes (Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop), flexibility and conditioning classes, and much more! We have a lot of NEW classes on the schedule for this summer! If you are out of town for a class, pick another class to attend to make it up on a week you are here. We want them to get all of the classes in! (See Summer Schedule online asap and sign up today!) Classes run June 9th-July 2nd.
July- All our Competition & Premier Students need to attend at least one 3 day intensive in July (no matter their age). 1st technique intensive, 2nd technique intensive, or the Ballet intensive. (You can obviously sign up for more than one)
August- All our Competition & Premier Students need to attend the team camp in August.

- Team Uniform Leotard: $60 (due Aug 7)
- Fall Workshops and Master Classes:
- We bring in a lot of talented teachers and choreographers from all over the US in later summer and early fall. Some of them will team master classes. Each master class will cost $25, and we highly advise dancers to sign up for these workshops. All dancers on an Elite or Premier team are required to take at least 2 of these classes. Other competition dancers are welcome as well.

- Fees differ for each competition, so we will not know exactly what these costs will look like until we know which competitions we are attending. We aim to get these competitions and fees to parents before classes start in the fall.
