Dance Illusion offers recreational dance classes for students ages 3 to 18. Styles offered in this program include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro tumbling, and ballroom. These classes are offered to dancers with all levels of experience.
Many of these classes are a combination of multiple styles. In these classes, dancers perform 1 routine in the Winter Show and one for each style in the Spring Show. For example, dancers in a Ballet/Tap class would perform 1 routine (either ballet or tap) in the Winter Show and 2 routines in the Spring Show. All of our rec shows are set to fun themes!
Policies
Please check our class schedule page and what studio your dancer’s class is in. For the first week, we will have teachers at the door to greet dancers and take them into their studio.
Take your dancers to the restroom before class. When dancers in a young class need to use the restroom during their class, this creates a major distraction, and teachers are often required to pause class.
NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM. This is just like any school, and whatever habits we make on the first day of class are what the dancers will expect all year. To have a good learning environment without distractions in the classroom, we only allow the students and teacher(s) in the classroom.
We cannot have the studio doors opening and closing throughout the class with parents trying to help their dancers. This becomes a safety issue where dancers will then think they can run out of the classroom looking for their parent.
If your young dancer is upset, we will keep them in class. Most of them calm down and get used to their new environment. However, if they continue to be upset, we will have the front desk contact their parents.
Fees
- Registration Fee: $30 per dancer (or $50 per family)
- Monthly Tuition:
- $50 for 1 class
- $75 for 2 classes
- $100 for 3 classes
- Costume Fee: $125 per class
- Recital Fee: $45 per dancer or $65 per family
- Medal Fee for Spring Show: $5 (younger rec only)
