Tryouts

Competition Team Tryouts $25 Tryout Fee (Premier Teams & Competition Teams)

May 31st- Premier Ages 6-8yrs 9am-10:30m, Premier Ages 9-11yr 10:30-Noon, Premier Ages 12 & up Noon-2pm, Competition Ages 5-8yr 2-3:30pm, Competition Ages 9-11yr 3:30-5:30, Competition Ages 12 & up 5:30-7pm

MAKEUP TRYOUT– June 5th at 4:30pm (All ages attend at the same time.  They will do the same dance videos from the 1st tryout.) We prefer you attend the 1st tryout but if you are unable to please attend the Makeup Tryout. 

Tryout Videos will be uploaded online (on this page) 3 days prior to the tryout.  Please learn the appropriate combos for competition team tryouts or for premier team tryouts for your age group.  We will quickly review the combos on the tryout date and then will have them do the combos for us in small groups. Please fill out the Tryout registration information below & you must pay the $25 tryout fee prior to trying out. We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

Summer Commitments-
“The More you Train in the Summer the More prepared you are in the Fall”


June- All our Competition & Premier Students need to attend at least 1 technique class in our June 4 week session. (ex. Ballet, Turns & Leaps) We of course encourage doing more then one class. We offer many combo classes (Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop), flexibility and conditioning classes, and much more! We have a lot of NEW classes on the schedule for this summer! If you are out of town for a class, pick another class to attend to make it up on a week you are here. We want them to get all of the classes in! (See Summer Schedule online asap and sign up today!) Classes run June 5th-28th.
July- All our Competition & Premier Students need to attend at least one 3 day intensive in July (no matter their age). 1st technique intensive, 2nd technique intensive, or the Ballet intensive. (You can obviously sign up for more than one)
August- All our Competition & Premier Students need to attend the team camp in August.

Competition Team Fees

Fall Workshops & Master classes- We bring in a lot of talented teachers and choreographers from all over the U.S. in late summer and early Fall.  Some of them will teach master classes.  Each Master Class will cost $25 and we highly advise those that can to sign up for these workshops.  All Premier dancers, Jr Elite, and Sr Elite are required to take at least 2 of these classes.  Other competition dancers are welcome as well. 

August-

Team Camp- $75 (Due By August 7th)
Uniform Leotard- $55 (Due By August 7th)

September-May (Automatic?) Monthly Tuition (Due By the 10th of every month)
Tots & Tiny’s- $100 a month (Average of 14 hours a month)
Mini’s, Glitz, Stars- $115 a month (Average of 16 hours a month)
Jr Prep, Jr Elite, Sr Prep, Sr Elite $145 a month (Average of 22 hours a month)
Any add on class (Contemporary, Tap, Acro, Extra ballet or jazz technique class) $25 add on a month
to your tuition.

September-

Registration Fee ($25 for 1 dancer/$45 for 2 or more dancers) (Due by September 5th)
Jacket (same as this yr) $60 (Due by September 5th)
Competition Team Costumes (Lyrical, Jazz, & HH) $200 (Due by September 30th)
Extra Team Costume (Contemporary, Tap, Etc) $75 each (Due by September 30th)

October-

Recital Fee- (Pays for BOTH recitals) $45 for 1 dancer/$65 for 2 or more (Due by October 30th)
Hip Hop Shoes- $40 (Due by October 30th)

November-

Choreography fee- (Tots, Tinys, Minis, Glitz, Stars) $50 (Due by Nov 30th)
(Jr Prep, Jr Elite, Sr Prep, Sr Elite) $100 (Due by Nov 30th)
(Additional Tap or Contemporary Team) $25 (Due by Nov 30th)

January-

(Team Gift ($25), Makeup ($25), Travel ($40) (Due by Jan 5th)

February-

Competition Fees Due- (TBA)- We attend 3 competitions, and each team does
3 dances. Our competition fees range from $250-$275 each year depending
on what competitions we are attending charge per dance. This is a good
estimate. (Due by Feb 5th)
Jr Elite & Sr Elite will attend one additional Convention/competition
(estimated $280 for convention and then $60 for one routine to compete)

April-

Premier Team Fees
